💳 Application Fee Details

As per the RRB CEN 02/2025 Technician recruitment, candidates are required to pay an application fee depending on their category. The fee structure includes a provision for refund after appearing in the Computer Based Test (CBT). General and OBC candidates need to pay ₹500, out of which ₹400 will be refunded after CBT. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) are required to pay ₹250, which will be fully refunded after appearing in CBT. The fee is to be paid online only through net banking, UPI, or debit/credit cards. No offline payment is accepted. Each Pay Level (Level 2 and Level 5) application requires separate payment. Candidates must provide correct bank account details for the refund. No refund will be given for incomplete/wrong details or rejected applications.

📋 Eligibility Criteria Table

    To apply for the RRB Technician posts under CEN 02/2025, candidates must fulfill specific age, educational qualification, and medical fitness requirements. For Technician Grade-I Signal, the age limit is 18 to 33 years, and the minimum educational qualification is a 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute. For Technician Grade-III posts, candidates must be 18 to 30 years old and possess Matriculation/10th pass along with ITI or have completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA) in relevant trade. Those awaiting results are not eligible to apply. Age relaxation is available as per government norms for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen. Candidates must also satisfy the required medical standards (A3, B1, B2, C1) for the post they apply to. Eligibility will be verified during document verification, and any false claim may result in disqualification.

    Under the CEN 02/2025 notification, the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced a total of 6,238 vacancies for Technician posts across various zones. This includes 183 posts for Technician Grade-I Signal under Pay Level 5, and 6,055 posts for Technician Grade-III in Pay Level 2, distributed across 29 different trades such as Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Machinist, and others. 🏥 Medical Standards Table

    Candidates applying for RRB Technician posts under CEN 02/2025 must meet the prescribed medical fitness standards to ensure they are fit for the duties of the respective posts. The medical standards are categorized as A3, B1, B2, and C1, and vary depending on the nature of work involved. Each standard requires different levels of visual acuity and general physical fitness. Medical tests include distant and near vision, color vision, night vision, binocular vision, and mesopic vision assessments. Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery are not eligible for A3 standard posts. Final medical fitness is assessed after Document Verification by Railway medical authorities. Candidates found medically unfit for a preferred post but fit for another will be considered for the lower preference post accordingly, subject to availability and merit.
